  • Upgrade any MTH O Gauge Protosound 1 engine to Protosound 2 / 3  --  (*PS2 upgrade Includes Free PS2 battery elimination upgrade*) (prices below include +$40.00 to reflect MTH electronics price increase as of 11/2/21)

    • PS3:

      • $365 (PS3 kit & labor)  w/PS3 board   (Regular steam/diesel - No slave engine/unit)

        • $  15 - DCS/DCC switch installed (if extra drilling required)

        • 20-3020-1 Hudsons must be upgraded to PS2 3v (not PS3)

        • Articulated engines (like Big Boy/Challenger/etc) +$25.00

        • Cab Forward +$100.00  (Includes using updated PS3 sound set)

          • +$8.00 labor to replace traction tires

        • Shay (4-truck) +$110.00 

          • Includes: working front proto-coupler, straight plug between engine/tender like original
