Model Overview:
The VO1000 is the first switcher diesel MTH released.
- Detail is excellent and true to prototype with key detail parts being made of metal/brass
- Engine has all Die-cast metal frame
- Wheels, Axles and all gears (worm and axle) are all metal for long life
- Eliminates failures seen in other mfg engines: Gear & Motor bearing failures
- Equipped with traction tires for greatly increased pulling power for minimal engine weight
- Equipped with remote triggered Proto-couplers
Note: To fill the smoke unit, lift the door/hatch on the center top of the engine and add through the hole in the middle. Don't add through any of the four smoke stacks.
