Model Overview:
The Largest G scale engine ever made.

- All die cast metal & Stainless steel construction
- The all metal construction makes this engine difficult to
handle and move. Ensure you can lift 45lbs before buying.
- Drivers, axles and gears are all metal for long life
- Driver axles have ball bearings for long life
- Includes lights, smoke and sound-only (no digital/remote
control built in)
- Engine sets run perfectly smooth with no binding due to
out of quarter drivers
- All metal connecting rods and running gear

Just took delivery of the new USA Trains 1:29 scale Big Boy.

More photos of the USA Big Boy. The packing
styrofoam on the first engine was allowed to make contact with the paint and
reacted with it. The brackets in the first three
photos were added because wooden platform split down one of the wheel flange grooves
on the initial unpacking and unbolting of the engine. In later production
runs USA Trains used a different material for the bottom platform to eliminate
breakage. USA Trains was great to work with and kindly replaced this
engine.

glass. For anyone curious, I purchased the case from ccase.com which is no
