This is to help gauge how these USA coal cars might look up
against the MTH Challenger (1:32) that I have on order. From these
pictures, it looks good.

Daylight, but as nice as these cars are, they are just too big.

In the February 2005 issue of Garden Railway Magazine, USA Trains
has announced the plans to build a 1/29th scale Big Boy. My guess is this
engine may be a good couple of years away from the store shelves.

Pictures of the MTH Dash-8. Looks much better here than in the production
photos. This also gives an idea as to the difference in truck to frame
height between the Aristocraft and MTH engines.
Examples are provided of an MTH box car (Norfolk Southern) and an Aristocraft
(Green).
